McConaghy Boats completed Moneypenny the Reichel/Pugh Design STP65 in 2008. McConaghy Boats used a carbon female mould to get as much weight out of Moneypenny and keep the VCG as low as possible. Using a 3D computerized scanning machine, when McConaghy Boats checked the hull plug and female mould with impressive results. 98% of the boat was within less than 10mm tolerance.
